Irrigation production has included cereals for out of season seed bulk up, oats, barley, lucerne, balansia, persian clover, silage, canola and various other small seed crops. 
Glen Gowan is situated in an area where cropping is regarded as high yielding and assured. 

• Irrigation
Approximately 79 hectares is under irrigation utilising 3 electric centre pivots. Water is drawn from the high quality underground aquifer which is between 900-1200ppm. The pivots are currently sown to lucerne for hay, seed and grazing, canola and beans. The irrigation adds an extra layer of diversification and additional income security. 


• Rainfall
Glen Gowan is located in an approximate annual average rainfall 480mm to 500mm. 

• Stock Water 
Stock and domestic water is drawn from a bore at the shedding site supplying a 20,000 squatters tank where the water is re-pumped supplying concrete troughing. 

• Fencing
The property is fenced into 18 main paddocks using creo pine posts, cyclone and barb. Central lane way providing access to most paddocks. All fencing is modern and well constructed with field gates throughout. Five containment sheep yards.
