They are all situated on Crown Land, that is leased by the District Council of Franklin Harbour and then subleased to individual Shack owners. The current lease is until 2051 at least and it would be up to the Crown to determine what happens after that. Sometimes land is made freehold and sometimes the leases are just extended - but it is an unknown.
