Background. 1970 Barry Walker commenced his rainforest vision preparing the land for a rainforest covering 14 acres in a circular design 
with 14 acres of cleared land sitting in the middle. A young botanist consulted, today Dr Robert Kooyman. 
500 native tree species were selected and approx 3,000 tube stock replanted & recorded. as the rainforest grew and tube stock grew into young healthy trees , these were name plated and may be viewed today. 

During 2022  the current owner, engaged recommended arborist Bill Cox of Treefellas. 
Treefellas team  set about carefully removing the invasive & threatening camphor trees. 
A significant task over 9 months. Today’s healthy rainforest is due to the skilled work of the Treefellas team.
The original pathways and walking tracks thru the rainforest are refurbished by local enthusiast Sol Taylor of Soft Landscaping . 
With the rainforest comes the native wildlife and birds. The colour and song are there every morning.
