Come unwind in a hammock by the pool, a walk to the nearby river, or a hike through lush greenery with cows, chickens, and horses abound :). Our Bali-inspired home has accommodations for up to 6 people and is set away from busy Puerto Viejo yet within reach in just 13 minutes when desired.The spaceYou'll wake up to howler monkeys and birds singing and go to sleep to frogs and the sounds of the jungle:) Trust us you will come to love and expect it. We offer 2 bedrooms, both with AC, and a large spa like bathroom with both an indoor and outdoor shower. Living, dining and fully-equipped kitchen are open air spaces. The outside deck has an additional hammock and lounge chairs for meditation and relaxation. There is a large dining room table that faces the garden that is also a wonderful work space for those working remotely. The kitchen bar has swings to add some fun.{ Please note- there is no hot water in the kitchen sink - which is common in this area- only cold water. There is hot water in bathroom showers (both indoor shower and outdoor shower.}This is a very chill neighborhood with a river (Rio Carbon) a 5 minute walk away. The house is gated and secure and away from the hustle of Puerto Viejo. There is parking in front of the house in the driveway.Other things to noteThough the bedrooms are fully enclosed with AC please note the living room, dining and kitchen areas are open air . Be sure and bring your repellant for dusk time; we also provide repellant at the house as well. The house is in nature so you will have visits from the occasional frog or grasshopper in the space (and various insects and birds) but they are always just passing through on their travels through the garden and never bother anyone :) A great place to practice being attuned with nature!
