The house, which is an old restored Mudejar convent, is built in stone ashlar, typical of the constructions of the time. From the Plaza we enter through a large hallway closed by a glass door and from there we go to the piano room. The ceilings of this room and the previous one are typical semicircular vaults of Extremadura, and the partitions are more than 90 cm thick. At the back we find a large living-dining room all under a splendid barrel vault and a small living room with a fireplace with a large wood stove. Through a beautiful wooden door of the time, we reach the TV room connected to the porch that gives access to the garden. This is very natural, made up of Mediterranean trees such as olive trees, pomegranate trees, almond trees and oleanders. In the courtyard we have a fig tree, a viburnum, a yucca and a lemon tree. It has enough space for a good sized swimming pool.At the other end, and next to the dining room, we find the kitchen fully equipped with appliances and recently renovated. To the first floor, it is accessed by a staircase with a railing and when we reach the landing, we find on the right a very spacious bedroom with entrance to a bathroom, and on the left we go to a hallway that takes us in front of the main room, previously passing through a bedroom-dressing room, with a fireplace, which inside has another wood stove. The master bedroom has its own bathroom and a balcony overlooking the garden. From the hallway and entering through the old wooden door, located on the right, it leads us to another small hallway with two bedrooms and a bathroom. On the other side we have an area not fully rebuilt, where the Mudejar Lodge is located which has two windows to the Plaza and two more rooms. The second floor is a bent or sovereign, which was formerly used to store the grains of the harvest, the cured meat, etc. It is currently uninhabited and is preserved as it was built. The house is located in a welcoming square, which in the town is known as El Escorial, because it is part of the convent of the order of the Seraphic Conceptionist, founded 300 years ago in 1723. and as an ecclesiastical construction it is very solid. It is located a few meters from the City Hall, Main Square and Parish Church. In the surrounding area we find bars, shops, pharmacies and everything that makes a town so pleasant to live in.The town of Bienvenida belongs to the province of Badajoz in the Autonomous Community of Extremadura.
