Guadix, Andalusia

In the heart of the Granada region located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, there is a European capital town of the Caves, its name is Guadix and that is where we find this large Patio House of the seventeenth-eighteenth century with Moorish elements. The house consists of two floors with a central courtyard of Castilian type.The main faade with a linteled door is located in front of the orchard of the Convent of the Conception. The door is made of wood with nails and a man's step. A large balcony stands out, located in the corner with lowered arches supported on a column. In some of the rooms, the wooden trusses are preserved. The house consists of two entrances on different streets. Refurbishing the house in a bohemian style, six spacious independent apartments were built. Three of them have one bedroom and the rest have 2 bedrooms. All of them have a bathroom, living room, kitchen, windows to the outside, one of them with a corner balcony with wonderful views of the city's cathedral. The courtyard, like the house, has been renovated, but some elements are preserved, such as the wooden floors, of which a very interesting bow over the staircase stands out. Equally noteworthy are the footings and octagonal columns on which the lintelled structure of the galleries rest. The galleries on the upper floors have been blocked. The floor has also been replaced by modern tiles. As for its location, the house is located just 3 minutes walk from the Cathedral of the Incarnation, right next to the Cathedral is the Plaza de las Palomas where shops and cafes give life to the city. Guadix, in addition to being a tourist city, is a city of students who come from several Spanish provinces to study different modules of Vocational Training, both Intermediate and Higher Level.The RRP indicated does not include taxes or deed fees.
