2 hours from Paris, in Burgundy, in the heart of a city with a strong heritage character, an elegant 19th century villa surrounded by a wooded park, with outbuildings and swimming pool. Wide tree-lined avenues border many private mansions with remarkable facades. A very residential area, appreciated for its calm and privacy. An entrance gate topped with a hedgehog opens onto the park of the property, a second passage through another avenue allows access for vehicles. A gravelled parterre is set up for parking. The mansion is built in the centre of the park, its main faade, set back from the street, faces north, and its south faade, open to the garden, overlooks the tiled swimming pool. The original building, with a central plan, is raised by one floor and an attic level. Its walls are covered with stone-tone plaster and its mansard roof is covered with slates and zinc. A side wing was added later to the west, built on two levels, covered with a roof terrace. In the extension of this wing, a contemporary veranda is arranged, bordering the swimming pool. A vast grassy and shaded park, planted with tall trees, some of which are centuries old, is embellished with flower beds and flower beds. Several peaceful corners, relaxation areas, are placed here and there, in the shade of a tree or around the pool.
