A chateau from the 16th and 18th centuries and a collection of listed buildings with 78 hectares of land and lakes, nested in France's Cher department. On the outskirts of a village, at the end of a gravelled drive along which the entire property can be seen, the mansion and its farm buildings overlook the slightly undulating surrounding 78 hectares, made up of meadows, heathland and three lakes. The buildings were built during two periods: firstly, in the 16th century, before being entirely transformed in the 18th century. The two-storey mansion boasts 697 m of living space. A further 74 m can be converted in the attic, which was previously used to accommodate the domestic staff. The L-shaped building is made of rubble stone as well as ashlar and is flanked at both of its ends by two wings and a round tower at the angle of the L, which houses the spiral staircase linking the two storeys. The mansion has a slate roof, supported by an oakwood roof frame, and is dotted with dormer windows boasting bullseye pediments and scroll decorative features. It is in good overall condition and the architectural features have been well preserved.
