An architect-designed house with a centuries-old core, boasting views of the River Armanon at the foot of the emblematic medieval ramparts of Semur-en-Auxois. The house has two storeys above a cellar and garage and is made up of two structures dating from the 15th and 17th centuries, which bear witness to a remarkable transformation. These old buildings, previously used for industrial purposes before being abandoned and left to become dilapidated, have been fully restored thanks to an architectural project skilfully combining the spirit of old stone and brick warehouses with a modern minimalist feel. The stone structure of the semi-underground cellar and garage has been restored, retaining the exposed stonework on the faade of the ground floor. The first floor has been rebuilt in the style of the original brick half-timbering. It is topped with large windows in which the surrounding landscape is reflected, beneath a gabled roof made of flat tiles.
