Tonneins is a commune in the FranceLot-et-Garonne department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region in southwestern France. Between Agen (42kms) and Marmande (22kms), on the right bank of the Garonne, the village is located on a high rock which dominates the other bank. It is crossed by the departmental road 813, formerly the national road 113, and is located at the beginning of the national road 111. Tonneins station serves the Bordeaux-Toulouse railway line.Torreins is a lively, associative and highly developed sports town.
