A 19th-century house of over 400 m and its luxuriant garden on the seafront overlooking Tamaris Bay, near Toulon. The house is set on a rectangular plot of almost 1 700 m, set back to make room for a planted garden of around 1 000 m, which separates it from the coast. The property is accessed from a small street on the opposite side of the coastline, through an electric gate that leads to a parking area for four or five cars. The main house is a rectangular, three-storey building with a large overhanging gable roof. It has several extensions to the west with single-pitched roofs, a two-storey extension to the south whose roof forms a panoramic terrace for the second floor, and a large single-storey extension to the south where the kitchen and one of the bedrooms are located. Finally, a terrace of around 50 m has views over the garden to the east, providing a wide view of the sea. The house, is currently divided into different flats. There is a majestic flat measuring around 235 m on two floors, with several lounges and three bedrooms with annexes. It has direct access to the garden and the terrace that looks out over it. A two-bedroom flat of around 42 m on the garden level was used by the owner's housekeeper and is connected to the first flat. Reached via a separate staircase, another two-bedroom apartment of approximately 55 m on the first floor can easily be opened onto the first flat, while a three-bedroom apartment which is approximately 75 m on the second floor has a contemporary veranda and a private terrace measuring approximately 25 m. Finally, a studio apartment, measuring around 19 m, occupies a corner of the plot. The 400 m or so of the house can be used as it stands with the current layout, or it could be reorganised to become one single house as it was originally designed. The garden has typical Mediterranean features and opens directly onto the coastline via a gate. Part of its surface area has been classified as an Ebc (classified wooded area).
