Hvar is the sunniest Adriatic island, known for winemaking since ancient times. In 384 BC, the Greeks founded the ancient city of Pharos, and the wine story begins in the Stari Grad Plain (Chora Farou or Ager Pharensis).In the heart of the island of wines are picturesque villages, including the village of Dol, which is located in forested hills below the peak of St. Nikola. The first floor houses the wine cellar with production tanks and barrels for wine storage.
