In the centre of Potenza Picena, a pretty town rich in history and culture, sitting on top of a hill not far from the sea, stands Palazzo Romantico, a historic building for sale, dating back to 1750 and once used used as the residence of a noble family. People of a certain reputation lived in this historic Palazzo on and off over a long period of time until a few years ago when it was used by the current owners as their primary residence as well as being used as a place to receive important guests and to organize cultural meetings. The building boasts five panoramic terraces from where one can enjoy a large and magnificent landscape, stretching from the sea to the Sibillini mountains. It has four floors giving a total area of about 800 square metres and it has a nineteenth-century style garden of 200 square metres. The painted ceilings that decorate the upper floor and the sleeping area are of remarkable beauty. And also noteworthy are three antique fireplaces dating from the 16th century. The Palazzo in all its splendour and grandeur is also a charming and comfortable home with a private garden. The building was renovated in 1841 and finally restored by the current owner in 1978, in its present state the building gives the impression of having been restored in the fashion of the 19th century. The building, with two separate entrances, one from the front of the Palace and the other from the garden, rises on three floors above ground and a basement below. This basement, overlooking the internal garden, contains a charming apartment, a kitchen with a large fireplace, a bedroom, a small living room, a storage room and a bathroom in addition to four rooms, three rooms used as cellars, with vaulted ceilings and wooden beams, and a studio with a beautiful 18th century fireplace, with a wooden beam ceiling. On the ground floor there is a large entrance, a large bright living room embellished by an ancient fireplace with large windows and a terrace a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, a bathroom, a study, a garage and three corridor hallways From a beautiful and wide marble staircase one reaches the landing of the first floor, which gives access to various rooms including an ensuite bathroom with a sitting area and decorated ceiling, a room with a small terrace overlooking the sea, two bathrooms and a dressing room also with a sea view, in addition to the four bedrooms with decorated ceilings, three of which have bathrooms, and a wonderful terrace from which to admire the splendid panoramic view. Finally, the second floor houses a bathroom to be completed and an attic with a pretty little terrace. Although the building is habitable immediately, the building needs maintenance work. The Palace possesses a unique historical flavour and its terraces offer incredible views, these together making it a most romantic and comfortable abode.
