Behind the yurt is a covered lanai with attached bathroom accommodations. In addition to the yurt and accessory structures in the back are the twin cabins in the front third of the property. Each cabin has its own covered front porch and they share the bathhouse structure that is situated between them. Catchment water and solar power are key to the sustainability of the property. Orchid Land Estates is located: close to Pahoa and Keaau. Shopping, necessities, government services, schools, parks, the Pacific Ocean, and so much more are just a short drive from the property. Hilo town is a little further away, and provides the bigger conveniences you may need: the Hilo Medical Center, University of Hawaii at Hilo, the historic Palace Theater, and the Hilo International Airport are but a few.
