This is a great spot--situated perfectly to head down the hill to Ouray and Ridgway or toward the ski runs and festivals of Telluride.  Traveling north on CR 1 brings you to the little town of Colona-stop for a scone at Lady Bird-then north to impressive shopping and other facilities in Montrose.  Excellent year round commercial air service is there (MTJ) as well as a premier private airport.  You'll feel blessed to have so many opportunities!
