There is no septic for the camp but there is an outhouse. Several trails meander through the property and are perfect for hiking, snowshoeing or riding ATV's.  The small frog pond in the back corner of the property is shallow but provides water for animals and creates some great bio-diversity.  The property is completely wooded and features maple, oak, hickory, beech, cherry and hemlock.  Hunters take notice this is a great small acreage hunting property with a history of nice bucks and turkeys in the area.  Trail cameras and harvest photos indicate some very nice bucks in recent years. Several rubs were located in various locations around the property. Multiple mature Red Oak and Hickory trees provide mast crop for deer, turkey and other wildlife.  The terrain on the property is relatively flat with a few small rolling hills of about 20' or so in elevation gain/loss.  The terrain creates natural funnels which encourage movement.  There is a cleared open area next to the camp with plenty of space for parking as well as room for target shooting.  Electricity is not available but power for the camp is provided by a combination of solar panels and a generator.  Camp A Way Road is a private road not maintained by the town and requires a 4-wheel drive vehicle for access.  Just 8.9 miles to Granville and 19 Miles to Glens Falls.
